2023 Active Transportation (AT) Infrastructure Solicitation

Attention all walkers, bikers, and rollers –

The 2023 Active Transportation (AT) Infrastructure Solicitation is open for full applications! As a reminder, this program is open to Greater Minnesota entities only. Counties and entities within Met Council’s seven county jurisdictional boundary are NOT eligible for the 2023 solicitation.

For those that submitted, Letter of Intent (LOI) responses were emailed on Wednesday, November 22, 2023. Please read and acknowledge these recommendations as you consider submitting a full application. Whether an entity submitted an LOI or not, a full application submittal is required to be considered for a grant selection.

The AT infrastructure webpage provides the full application link and a step‐by‐step solicitation guide to accompany the form to help ensure complete submissions. Additionally, the website includes program FAQs as well as the PowerPoint slide deck from the informational webinars held in September.

Please help us spread the word and encourage applications from agencies with any unrealized active transportation infrastructure-related needs! Full application submittal will close Friday, February 2^nd, 2024. Program selections expect to be announced in April or May 2024.
