Summer Specialized Training: Duluth

AM TIME: 8:30am-12:30pm! Registration opens at 7:45am. Hot Breakfast available during registration period.
The Summer Specialized Training will be held at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC).
Our meeting rooms will be in the Harbor Side portion of the Convention Center. Harbor Side is the side we use for the Annual Conference when it is held in Duluth. Registration will be found in the lobby of the Harbor Side. This is the same location as the Spring Short Course in Duluth.
Parking is available in the parking ramp next to the DECC. Guests will be responsible for their own parking expenses. Parking rate is $5/day for unlimited access on that day.
DROP OFF INFORMATION
If you would like to drop off anyone close to the meeting area, the best door is DOOR G. Door G is located on the backside of the DECC right next to Vista Fleet. Use Harbor Drive to go around the DECC and look for Door G next to Vista Fleet. Guests may enter Door G and then take the elevator up to Floor 2. Registration will be around the corner in the Harbor Side Area.
Registration Check-In opens at 7:45am. Pre-registration will be available when the event approaches.
When registering, you do not need to indicate which workshop(s) you want to attend other than the following: Board of Equalization (limit of 60) or Beginning CTAS (limit of 20 each day). If you wish to attend this workshop, please indicate so on the registration form.
Pre-registration Fee is $50. Onsite Registration Fee is $60.
Meetings begins at 8:30am. Meetings adjourn at 12:30pm.
MAT REGISTRATION POLICY (for events with Pre-Registration)
Forms can be found in the MAT Township Insider magazine, on our website and in some MAT mailings. Phone registrations are not accepted.
One registration form per person, unless otherwise noted. Please make copies if you only have one form. Multiple names on a single form may be returned to sender for additional forms to be completed.
Please submit the entire form. Incomplete forms may be completed in our office based on your position and the information provided. If there is not enough information to do so, you will be contacted and your registration may be delayed.
To qualify for pre-registration your form must be postmarked, submitted online or faxed by the stated deadline. Registrations received after the deadline will be held and made available for completion at the event registration area, at the on-site rate. This also applies to registrations received with the on-site fee included.
Payment is not required to pre-register; selecting the “bill to” option on forms received before the deadline allows you to take advantage of the pre-registration discount.
When registering by fax or online, please do not send payment until you receive an invoice. Waiting for the invoice will ensure that payment is applied correctly, and that your registration will not be duplicated.
Disability accommodations and dietary food requirements must be requested by the date stated on the form.
Invoices can be paid at anytime, but they are due within 30 days after the event. Take care to include the pink copy of the invoice with your remittance and be sure that it is sent to MAT’s PO Box of 267, not the Agency’s.
Refunds will be made to those that have mailed, faxed, or emailed a request within 30 days from the date of the event. Fees will be refunded, less the stated processing fee.
