Give Feedback: MN Invasive Species Management Plan
The Minnesota Invasive Species Advisory Council (MISAC) is in the process of updating their management plan and is inviting the Minnesota Association of Townships to review the plan.
This is an excellent opportunity to become familiar with the process of identifying the problem; which organizations are needed to take the lead in the appropriate strategy and to coordinate with partners.
Township officers and residents have been very helpful in notifying the various organizations when they can see there is an issue to be resolved and have been instrumental in working towards the solution. Therefore, reviewing this management plan will be beneficial to all concerned and our input is greatly appreciated.
As you will see, this is several pages long, however, much can be scrolled along, cutting down the time involved. We would like to suggest that one member of your board take this on as their commitment to the cause for the benefit of controlling the invasive species which find their way into our ‘backyards’.
