Spring Short Course: Duluth

The Duluth Spring Short Course will be held at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC). The event previously held in Carlton has been moved to the DECC beginning in 2018. Our meeting rooms will be in the Harbor Side portion of the Convention Center. Harbor Side is the side we use for the Annual Conference when it is held in Duluth. Registration will be found in the lobby of the Harbor Side.
GUEST DROP OFF
If you would like to drop off someone close to the registration area, please use DOOR G on the harbor side next to Vista Fleet. Follow Harbor Drive around the Civic Center until you see the Vista Fleet store. Inside Door G, take the elevator up to floor 2 and registration will be inside the doors.
Parking is available in the parking ramp next to the DECC. Guests will be responsible for their own parking expenses. Parking rate is $5/day for unlimited access on that day.
For the Spring Short Course, we recommend parking in the ramp on the 3rd or 4th floors and entering/exiting the building through the Skywalk doors.
Registration opens at 8:00am. There is no pre-registration for this event. Registration Fee is $50. Please make checks out to MAT.
Meetings begins at 9:00am. Meetings adjourn at 3:00pm.
MAT REGISTRATION POLICY (for events with Pre-Registration)
Forms can be found in the MAT Township Insider magazine, on our website and in some MAT mailings. Phone registrations are not accepted.
One registration form per person, unless otherwise noted. Please make copies if you only have one form. Multiple names on a single form may be returned to sender for additional forms to be completed.
Please submit the entire form. Incomplete forms may be completed in our office based on your position and the information provided. If there is not enough information to do so, you will be contacted and your registration may be delayed.
To qualify for pre-registration your form must be postmarked, submitted online or faxed by the stated deadline. Registrations received after the deadline will be held and made available for completion at the event registration area, at the on-site rate. This also applies to registrations received with the on-site fee included.
Payment is not required to pre-register; selecting the “bill to” option on forms received before the deadline allows you to take advantage of the pre-registration discount.
When registering by fax or online, please do not send payment until you receive an invoice. Waiting for the invoice will ensure that payment is applied correctly, and that your registration will not be duplicated.
Disability accommodations and dietary food requirements must be requested by the date stated on the form.
Invoices can be paid at anytime, but they are due within 30 days after the event. Take care to include the pink copy of the invoice with your remittance and be sure that it is sent to MAT’s PO Box of 267, not the Agency’s.
Refunds will be made to those that have mailed, faxed, or emailed a request within 30 days from the date of the event. Fees will be refunded, less the stated processing fee.
